Rapidmooc video studio, an essential part of the Arts et Métiers Learning Center
Founded in 1780, Arts et Métiers has consistently adapted to the evolving challenges of industry and society. Its primary mission is to train engineers specialising in sustainable technologies, with over 6,000 students across 14 locations.
The Metz campus installed a Rapidmooc studio when it opened its Learning Centre, with plans to extend this initiative to other campuses.
Growing video needs
Over time, Arts et Métiers identified three key areas where video would be the perfect solution:
- Internal Communication: for sharing information, announcements or testimonials.
- Teaching Needs: for creating MOOCs, video courses with presentations and course materials or assessments.
- Student Engagement: for promoting community projects and student activities.

The Rapidmooc video studio is set up in a spacious room, designed to create a comfortable and inviting recording environment. Accessible by reservation, it can be used to produce both static and dynamic videos.
Following a brief training session, users are quickly able to create videos entirely on their own. They can handle everything themselves — from filming to exporting their final video on a USB drive.
