An ecosystem committed to integration and skills development
The AFPP in Tours is a well-established, highly regarded training provider in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Backed by 70 staff members, around 30 external partners, and more than 3,800 learners each year, the AFPP offers an extensive programme of tailor-made courses: foundational skills (languages, digital literacy), accredited qualifications, career-development support and a “second-chance” school.
Since 2023, the AFPP has also debuted an innovative skills hub called the ‘The Project Workshop’ : a collaborative centre where employment services, training opportunities and pedagogical innovation converge.
This hybrid (physical and digital) hub fosters interaction among local stakeholders — businesses, public bodies, and non-profits — and supplies cutting-edge learning tools that inspire new approaches to education, active collaboratio, and collective creation.
But the question was: how do you produce engaging, effective and budget-friendly content that can easily be distributed to every employee?
While video was already proving useful for simple news updates, it also turned out to be the solution for a wide range of other purposes:
The need: to produce high-impact, accessible, educational and rewarding videos
Prior to the integration of Rapidmooc, AFPP faced several challenges:
- Making training more lively and attractive for audiences who sometimes struggle with traditional learning.
- Creating video content quickly, without relying on vendors or complex hardware.
- Equipping educators to produce reusable teaching materials themselves.
- Boosting learners' self-confidence by offering them engaging and rewarding support.
- Communicating effectively about third place initiatives and engaging stakeholders.
The solution: an all-in-one studio to democratize educational video
Olivia, the coordinator of the skills hub, first encountered Rapidmooc at the Educatech trade fair. Captivated by its intuitive workflow and polished, professional results, she became the driving force behind integrating the solution into the centre’s core offerings
Installing a Rapidmooc studio inside the skills hub has sparked a real surge in video production. The platform is now a versatile, cross-functional pillar of AFPP’s teaching strategy:
- Asynchronous training videos created directly by the trainers and shared on the LMS
- Filmed mock interviews, followed by group debriefings to work on posture, language and self-image
- Video escape games, integrating Rapidmooc videos to ask riddles or launch immersive challenges
- News about local opportunities, where young people become TV hosts to relay job offers
- Marketing materials for social networks, videos displayed at events or workshops with partners

Practical applications and energising, team-wide uptake
AFPP has successfully mobilised its teams and learners around the Rapidmooc studio:
- An internal competition invited all employees to submit their video ideas.
- The French Building Federation has produced immersive videos to raise awareness of the sector's professions.
- Young adults, in partnership with the SNCF, produced a video to prevent harassment in public transport, which was entered into a competition.
- The Municipal Library also uses the studio to promote its citizen projects.
Even institutional visitors are impressed: elected officials and partners alike consistently praise the studio’s professional output.

Looking ahead: from tailor-made, on-demand MOOCs to nationwide recognition Ask ChatGPT
AFPP intends to go even further:
- Launch an open-access MOOC catalogue that lets learners build skills autonomously, whenever and wherever they choose.
- Create interactive learning journeys packed with storytelling, branching course paths, and built-in quizzes that keep engagement high
- Raise the hub’s profile within the France Tiers-Lieu network: the AFPP site is already one of just two venues selected to host a national event this June.
- Open the studio to local businesses: many regional employers are eager to use Rapidmooc to upskill their teams efficiently and at scale.
AFPP Tours’ experience proves that a video studio like Rapidmooc is far more than a technical gadget. It’s a catalyst for pedagogical, social, and organisational transformation. By making video production accessible, seamless, and rewarding, it gives learners a voice, enables trainers to teach in new ways, and empowers institutions to innovate at every level.
A piece of advice
Don’t wait for the “perfect project” to get started. At AFPP, it was hands-on experimentation that unlocked new possibilities: a brief training clip became a confidence booster, a mock interview evolved into a springboard to employment, and an internal video turned into a source of collective pride.
Whether you’re a training centre, a third-place hub, or an integration programme, the secret is to carve out a space where video creation is simple and visible, guide those first steps and spark ideas. Then let the magic unfold.
With Rapidmooc, video isn’t merely watched; it’s lived, created, and shared. That’s exactly where its power lies.
