Our story
In the early 2010s, as the rise of online education and MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) transformed the way people learned, Fabrice Mercier was already deeply immersed in the world of lecture recording and video podcasting for universities. His solutions helped educators bring knowledge to wider audiences, but he kept encountering the same frustrating challenge: recording high-quality training videos was far too complex, time-consuming and expensive.
He knew there had to be a better way. What if teachers, trainers and professionals could create studio-quality videos on their own, without relying on technicians or costly post-production?
That’s when the idea for Rapidmooc came: all-in-one, plug-and-play video studios designed to let anyone record engaging content independently.

With six offices across four countries and a dedicated team of over a dozen employees, Rapidmooc continues to innovate, now offering four distinct products tailored to different needs. Rapidmooc is a small, close-knit team spread across France, the USA, Germany, and Switzerland, with six different nationalities working together daily. Our diverse backgrounds bring fresh perspectives to everything we do, whether it’s developing new features, supporting clients or expanding into new markets.
From software developers fine-tuning our technology to sales and support teams helping customers get the most out of their studios, everyone plays a role in keeping Rapidmooc running smoothly. With a startup mindset and a practical approach, we collaborate across time zones to ensure we continue to grow and innovate. And of course, no day is complete without a visit from Viny, our four-legged intern, who takes his office duties very seriously!
